In the themed cafés and shops of Akiba Zone, it is essential to respect the rules of each establishment, such as avoiding taking photos of staff without permission. Inside the shopping complex, you may find sections with adult-oriented content, and your guide will explain how to approach these areas with respect and discretion. Akiba Zone has several floors; although there is an elevator, we recommend being prepared to use the stairs in certain sections. Akihabara is a safe area, but it is always advisable to keep an eye on your belongings, especially in crowded places. Finally, please note that access to Akiba Zone depends on its opening hours, and the route will be adjusted accordingly.

Wear comfortable shoes, as this is a walking tour that passes through busy streets and several floors inside Akiba Zone. Depending on the season, remember to bring water and sun protection in summer, or an umbrella and warm clothing in winter. Please try to arrive a few minutes early at the meeting point near Kanda Myojin Shrine so the tour can begin smoothly. Take the opportunity to photograph the neon lights and themed spaces, always respecting the rules of each shop and café. Please note that many small venues and retro shops only accept cash, so bringing some money in yen is recommended. Keep an open mind to enjoy the contrasts of the district, from otaku culture to aspects of everyday life in Japan.
